Initial Verrutop Treatment

Treatment is normally quick and painless, making it an excellent choice for those seeking effective foot care. Unlike Cryotherapy or other chemical treatments, Verrutop does not act by freezing or burning the tissue, ensuring a gentler approach. It is suitable for both adults and children aged 6 years and older, making it a versatile option in foot health services. No dressings are required, and following application, it does not interfere with your daily routine.

What to Expect:

The surface area (hard skin covering the verruca) will be removed to allow the treatment to penetrate the verruca effectively. A few drops of Verrutop will be applied to the verruca, which may give a tingling sensation. Your verruca may turn a yellow or black colour, and after a few treatments, peeling will occur. During the course of the treatment, you will need to apply surgical spirit twice daily to the verruca. Treatments are scheduled at 2-week intervals for up to 6 treatments, ensuring comprehensive professional foot care.
